ZIF-8 Assisted Polyacrylamide Functionalized Silica Core-Shell Stationary Phase for Hydrophilic Interaction Liquid Chromatography

A novel ZIF-8 assisted polyacrylamide functionalized silica polar stationary phase was prepared by a facile method of adding nanoparticles and into (PAM) aqueous solution, then stirring the mixture until solution evaporated absolutely with help mechanical agitator. Interestingly, (PAM-Sil@ZIF-8/PAM) showed favorable hydrophilicity, as demonstrated good separation performance strong retention ability toward several types compounds, such amino acids, saccharides, alkaloids. In addition, PAM-Sil@ZIF-8(50 mg)/PAM better compared amino-modified Sil/PAM due to addition ZIF-8. Furthermore, it that improved specific surface area provided extra interaction sites for analytes, which is beneficial samples. column efficiency can reach 7861.9 plates/m colchicine. Moreover, exhibited stability reproducibility under our operation conditions. short, phase, be used hydrophilic liquid chromatography, obtained proved polymer modifying greatly MOF nanoparticles.
